Samsung has now also sending out a new software update to Bell, Rogers and among other Canadian carriers Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. It’s a maintenance update for the device stability, bug fixes and further enhancements to performance. The latter is quite something similar to what we have seen on Sprint and AT&T’s roll out few days earlier.It is now held available and rolling out  via over-the-air (OTA) update.

Here are the technical details of the OE2 Update:

Here is what it says on Samsung Galaxy S6;

Android version: 5.0.2

On regular Galaxy S6 (SM-G920W8) it will change the baseband version from “G920W8VLU1AOCG”  to  “G920W8VLU1AOE1” . While on the other hand it will also replace the baseband version “G925W8VLU1AOCG”  to “G925W8VLU1AOE1” on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925W8).  The update is still base in Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and was just freshly built and baked on May 2, 2015.  It might gradually rolled out in stages and it depends on a mobile network provider the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
