Sprint Galaxy S6 and S6 edge Android 7.0 Nougat Updates Released [G920PVPU4DQC7 & G925PVPU4DQC7]

Sprint has rolled out the Android 7.0 Nougat updates for the Galaxy S6 (SSM-G920P) and Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925P). The S6 received an OTA update dubbed as build version G920PVPU4DQC7, while the S6 edge has also bumped to version G925PVPU4DQC7. Eventually, Sprint has not made any announcement yet, but the rolling out has actually begun on April 12, 2017. Yet these updates will be posted sooner at their support pages.

Anyways, the Android 7.0 Nougat updates brings some added stuff, including the Samsung cloud, and Samsung Pass. It also includes various improvements to the users’ interface, while there are also several enhancements when it comes to usability such as the performance modes, Multi-window, Notification feature, Quick settings button, and a lot more.

How to update Galaxy S6 or S6 edge via Over-The-Air:

Ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update. This is a must and very important part to get rid of some issues if ever the software update being interrupted due to a power failure.
From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > Settings > About device > Software updates > Check for Updates.
If your device finds a new software update, tap Download now. When complete, a screen will appear advising you that the new version of software is ready to be installed. Tap Install update.
The device will power down and power back on. A screen will appear stating that the installation has been completed. Tap OK.
