AT&T Galaxy S6 Gets OTA Update to UCU1AOE2, Maintenance and Various Software Issues Resolved

AT&T has just rolled out software update on Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920A) and Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925A). It's a maintenance release update that brings fixes to various software issues, according to the addressed changelog. The latter is the second Android 5.0.2 Lollipop software update since the device public release. The update build version came as G920AUCU1AOE2 for the Galaxy S6 (SM-G920A) and G925AUCU1AOE2 on Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925A).

AT&T Galaxy S6 "OE2" Update Changelog:
  • Battery performance enhancement
  • HD Voice enhancement
  • Screen enhancements
  • AT&T Message enhancement
  • Screen rotation enhancement
  • Power key press time from .5 sec to 1.5 sec.
  • Other various performance enhancements

Both are available via Over-The-Air (OTA)  update and weighs around 236 MB in file size.

Once took the update it changes the baseband version  to UCU1AOE2  from UCU1AOCE the initial release, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update last month.  So make sure to hit your device Settings>About device>Software Update>Check for updates.
