In addition,  Rogers has also made an announcement on Tuesday that the said 'BOJ7' update is the one that brings fixes and resolves the connectivity issues with the Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge devices.
Some of you have been experiencing connectivity issues with your Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge devices over the past couple of weeks and we’re happy to report that a fix is on the way.

We’ve been working around the clock with Samsung to get the right fix in place and starting November 16th it will be rolling out in phases over November 16th to 30th – If you’re wondering, the root cause is related to the latest Samsung Android 5.1.1 update.

It’s taken longer than we had hoped to get here and we appreciate your patience. Fixing the problem is a little bit more complex for us because of the VoLTE capability we offer on these devices.

The connectivity issue is caused  by the new implementation of Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support on the new devices. The said VoLTE support brings a much higher quality phone calls as it has a much higher speed in connectivity.

Furthermore, the BOJ7 update is not only sent out to Rogers Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge,  but also being held available and release to Telus, Fido, and Koodo Galaxy S6/S6 edge owners. You may now manually check the update by hitting your  device Settings > About device > Software update.
