Verizon Galaxy S6 Edge G925VVRU4BOK7 OTA Update, App Edge, Wi-Fi calling and YouTube Live Video Broadcasting Added

As an update has just came around on Verizon Galaxy S6 (SM-G920V), Verizon has also released an update on Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925V) to which will bump up the software build to G925VVRU4BOK7.  This update brings  several  improvements to the device, including the Wi-Fi Calling, Live Video Broadcasting in real time via Youtube, and the Ultra-High-Quality Audio (UHQA).

  1. Wi-Fi Calling - Allows users to make calls easily via Wi-Fi. This can be activated by going to Settings > Advanced Calling > Activate Advanced Calling.
  2. Live Video Broadcasting - Allows users to watch and broadcast via YouTube, and share important moments in real time.
  3. Ultra-High-Quality Audio- UHQA (Hi-Fi Audio) - A superb sound quality enhancements.
  4. Updated icon and folder design - Apps icons  and folders got some rounded tweaks.
  5. Samsung Messages app enhancements - A new notification features that allow users to preview new messages in the status bar and lock screen.
  6. The App Edge menu is also now included.

The update available via Over-The-Air (OTA) update with Wi-Fi connection.  If you haven’t received the software update notification message yet make sure to hit your device Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for updates.
